Northeastern goalie and Hobey Baker finalist Brad Thiessen signed with the Pittsburgh Penguins. The Penguins are already pretty deep with goalie prospects, including former Notre Dame goalie David Brown, former BU goalie John Curry, and Alaska's Chad Johnson

Denver defenseman Patrick Wiercioch will be returning to school for his sophomore year according to sources in Ottawa.

Notre Dame defenseman Ian Cole informed the Blues that he will return to Notre Dame next year. Huge news for the Irish. Cole should be an All-American next year. Also of note, the Blues haven't shown any interest in signing Ryan Duncan of North Dakota.
