Michigan State senior-to-be Andrew Rowe has signed a free agent deal with the Philadelphia Flyers.
Rowe was never the most talented kid in college hockey, but was an extremely hard worker that worked his way from Michigan State's fourth line to their top line over the course of his career. After starting with just 7 points as a freshman, he manged to double his previous year's point total in each of his next two years.
The Flyers also announced that they signed former Northern Michigan goalie Briant Stewart to a pro contract.
