St. Paul Attendance

Just announced as 7281. I hit the exacta when yesterday I predicted announced attendance over 7000 and actual attendance well below 7000. I know there are arguments against it, but I'll just throw it out there that between number 2 Denver losing what looked an awful lot like a road game today, and the XCel Center drawing a crowd akin to the Class A high school tournament, maybe it's not such a bad idea to think about campus sites.

I was not nearly as accurrate with my dinner prediction, when I predicted chicken breasts and fried fish, instead of lasagna, which I sadly skipped to make the puck drop for the second game. But I did hear positive reviews of the lasagna.

Yeah,

pretty disappointed with the attendance for the NCAA’s. I’ve been going to the Final Five in St. Paul for 6 years and this is the first time I’ve attended a NCAA tournament. Very empty was my perception of the crowd yesterday. Even the Friday afternoon game of the Final Five gets a good announced attendance of about 12,000.Granted the Final Five has become a tradition among many unpredictability of NCAA sites doesn’t help, but it is a very different atmosphere in the NCAA’s than in any other game WCHA teams play in all year.

I almost think teams might want to think about restricting ticket sales for their playoff series to adjust…(yes I am kidding, the ramifications would be unacceptable).
