Bordson Signs with Anaheim

Minnesota-Duluth junior Rob Bordson signed with the Anaheim Ducks, forgoing his final season of eligibility at Minnesota-Duluth.

Bordson was easily one of the country's most improved players this year, going from zero points as a sophomore to 40 points this past season. He was far from a dominating force that looked ready for the NHL this past year, but it's hard to blame him for taking the chance to sign an NHL contract that might not have been available if he struggled next season. He's always been a pretty hard-nosed kid that can make plays around the net, and has found ways to put up impressive point totals in high school, the USHL, and now college hockey.
