Replacement for Culhane

With the departure of Culhane, WMU has an opportunity to bring back one of the most qualified hockey minds out there, alum Joe Bonnett (Colorado College, WCHA). As a former WMU player and assistant coach at Miami, he has a thorough understanding of the CCHA. As a recruiter, his success places him as one of the best in the nation (2 Hoby Baker winners, and numerous pro players). Even more impressive is the decade of consistent team success he has helped to achieve at CC, a small school competing against Big 12 schools. This is a great opportunity and perfect timing to hire a passionate and qualified Bronco to lead WMU to national prominence.
