The Duluth News-Tribune's Kevin Pates is reporting that UMD sophomore defenseman Dylan Olsen has signed a three-year contract with the Chicago Blackhawks and will report to Rockford of the AHL.
It's rumored that Olsen's decision is based on being academically ineligible to play in the second semester for Minnesota-Duluth.
