The Big Chill Is A Big Success

Michigan defeated Michigan State 5-0 in the Big Chill outdoor hockey game, but that is almost secondary. The big story was 113,411 people were inside Michigan Stadium to witness. That breaks records for any hockey game anywhere, any game inside Michigan Stadium, and I believe any NCAA sporting event.

I was there and it was pretty awesome. The University of Michigan deserves a lot of credit for putting on a perfect event. That was about as well as an event like that could be handled. It was an incredible experience from start to finish.

I've got a 10-12 hour drive tomorrow to organize my thoughts and I'll have a lot of thoughts and pictures on Monday.
