US-Canada Open Thread

Tonight at 8pm EST is the one game to decide who truly is a world power. Just kidding, even if Canada wins, they'll still be Canada. But tonight promises to be a classic game. The US are heavy underdogs, but it's one game, and who knows what could happen. As I like to say, I've seen worse beat better.

All predictions, comments, gloating, recriminations, etc. can go here. As a pseudo-journalist, I'm entirely neutral and just hope everyone has a good time. And also that those Canadian bastards choke on their tears in painful defeat. Go US.

I can get behind that sort of sentiment. While Cormier and Henrique are on Canada’s WJC team, a new gold medal winner would be a refreshing change. And bring in a lot more interest for 2011 in Buffalo.
