Detroit has already started getting ready for this year's Frozen Four--no, not by chipping the frozen bodies out of the train station. It was announced today that during this year's Frozen, there will be a three-day College Hockey FanFest. The free event will take place at the Renaissance Center and should have some interesting interactive games and historical displays.
It's a nice idea. There will be plenty to do in Detroit, though I think a lot of out-of-towners on the fence about traveling to this year's Frozen Four are skeptical of whether there will be things to do there over the Friday off-day. It's nice to see Detroit doing what it takes to be accomodating.
