Simpson to UND
Alberta defenseman Dillon Simpson, arguably the top '93-born college prospect, has committed to North Dakota. He chose the Sioux over a couple of WCHA programs and his dad's alma mater of Michigan State.
Most interesting is the news that Simpson has accelerated his education and could potentially play for the Sioux next season, rather than spending another year in the AJHL. Coming to college next year maybe wouldn't be the worst move for him, since he's having a great year in the AJHL this year, and another year in the league might not do much for him, but North Dakota would be a tough place to make the lineup as a 17-year-old.

Congratulations
Even TSN’s Bob McKenzie is a fan of your site…
More fun than a stick to the face!
On the Forecheck is SB Nation's blog covering the Nashville Predators.
Was just going to comment the same thing. Great job.

Most Minnesota 17 Year olds (except Schroeder last year) usually struggle with the Gophers...
But, maybe with all of his experience he will find it easier to play in the WCHA at age 17. It iwll be interesting to see.
