Per the Michigan Rivals.com website, Ontario forward Lucas Lessio has officially verbally committed to Michigan, which most people speculated he would after leaving Niagara Ice Dogs camp last week. Lessio is considered one of the top prospects for his age in Ontario.

Lessio still has two years before he'd make it to Michigan, so that's a long time for Niagara or some other OHL team to change his mind. It could be important for Michigan that he doesn't. He's their first '93-born recruit, mainly because options locally look pretty limited for that age group.
