Warroad HS forward Brock Nelson committed to North Dakota. Nelson is off to a pretty fast start in the Elite League this year, which probably helped his stock. He grew up a Sioux fan, with uncles that played at North Dakota.

Also, Minnetonka HS defenseman Andrew Prochno committed to St. Cloud. I'll agree with his high school coach that I'm a little surprised Prochno wasn't picked up earlier, though a Jake Gardiner comparison probably goes a stretch too far. Still, SCSU has a pretty impressive group of defenseman coming in the next couple of years, led by Kevin Gravel, Nick Jensen, and now Prochno.
