With the 28th pick in the NHL Draft, the Chicago Blackhawks select Dylan Olsen of the Camrose Kodiaks.

Analysis:

An excellent pick by the Blackhawks. I thought Olsen was one of the better defenseman available in the mid-to-late part of the first round and the Blackhawks got him without having to trade up. Olsen will go to Minnesota-Duluth but could be NHL ready in just a year or two.
