Miami Upsets Denver

For the second time today, a 4th seed knocked off a number one seed. This time it was Miami beating Denver 4-2 in the West Regional.

Unlike the first game, Miami pretty much dominated this game. They got scoring from all four lines and looked very impressive. Denver was a talented team, but like seemingly every WCHA team this year, had games where they just looked terrible, and today just happened to be one of those days for them.

Miami will await the winner of the Minnesota-Duluth/Princeton game.
