US Announces U18 Team

USA Hockey announced today their team that will compete at the World U18 championships this April in Fargo......err, hopefully.

It's a decent roster for the US, though I think there are going to some concerns on defense, and goaltending could be a question mark. Probably not the best team they've ever fielded for this event, but hopefully they can still bring back a medal.

Roster

Did I look at that Roster correctly? Only one Minnesota born player on the team this year? Hmmm is there anything to this? Are we not developing players like we used to?

Not Satisfied with Mediocrity.

Leddy

Nick Leddy is better than almost all the d men who made the team…. its not that Minny players aren’t good – it just that they all turned down the devolpment team; and therfore USA hockey snubbed them…. thats how they roll.
