The Dallas News is reporting that Colorado College goalie Richard Bachman is very close to signing with the Dallas Stars.

Bachman was strongly considering signing this summer, and it wouldn't be a huge surprise to see him go. If he does leave, that would leave Colorado College with incoming freshman Joe Howe, career third-stringer Tyler O'Brien, and possibly another freshman recruit competing for the starting goaltending job.
