WCHA All-Academic Team

107 students were named to the WCHA All-Academic team
this year. To be named to the team, players need at least full year at an institution and a GPA over 3.0. Denver had 18 players make the list, which is a WCHA record. I guess they're all just a bunch of boring eggheads now that Brock Trotter isn't around anymore. The count for the rest of the WCHA went as follows... Alaska-Anchorage-14 St. Cloud State-12 North Dakota-11 Minnesota State-11 Colorado College-11 Minnesota-Duluth-10 Michigan Tech-9 Minnesota-6 Wisconsin-5

The All-Academic teams are a crock. Without any information as to what classes they’ve gotten good grades in, it’s not very meaningful information.
