MIHL Showcase

High school hockey in MIchigan doesn't get as much attention as it does in Minnesota, but the Michigan high school ranks have produced a pretty impressive list of players over the years.

This weekend in Trenton, Michigan, 36 of the state's top high school teams will be competing in the 9th Annual Michigan Interscholastic Hockey League Prep Showcase.

Each team plays two games over the course of the 3-day event, and the match-ups weren't determined until early January to make sure the games were competitive.

You can view the full schedule of games here.

And here are the most recent rankings for boy's high school hockey in Michigan. Most of the ranked teams are playing in this event.
