McCabe Leaves Omaha

Nebraska-Omaha forward Andrew McCabe  has left Nebraska-Omaha, and will likely be looking to transfer to a different school.

The blog article linked above mentions that the timing is interesting given that Andrew's brother Jake, who was being recruited by UNO, recently chose to commit to Wisconsin. Things like that have happened before. Kevin Porter's older brother Chris was released from Michigan State's team by Rick Comley less than a week after Kevin chose to commit to Michigan over Michigan State.

Of course McCabe was also brought to UNO under the previous regime, and I'm sure Blais is anxious to get as many of his own players in as possible, given that he's stated that he may be working within a short timeframe at UNO. Hopefully McCabe can find another opportunity elsewhere.
