Welinski Choose Duluth

Duluth East defenseman Andy Welinski has committed to his hometown Minnesota-Duluth, according to Chris Heisenberg.

Welinski, a '93 born defenseman, turned down the opportunity to play at the NTDP this year to stay at Duluth East. He's a more defensive-minded defenseman that plays a tough, physical style of hockey, and in a bit of a weak birth year, he's one of the top prospects in the state of Minnesota.
