Stern Picks Minnesota State

Centennial High School defenseman Brett Stern has committed to Minnesota State for the 2011-2012 season. The 6'2" 175 lbs. defenseman recently completed a solid Elite League season, which included being named to the NIT roster for the second straight year, and was named a "B" prospect for the NHL Draft by NHL Central Scouting. He'll likely join former Centennial teammate Tyler Pitlick on the Mavericks in two years.
