Injury Report

A couple teams will be heading into the season next weekend without their full lineups.

Denver's Patrick Wiercioch sat out yesterday's exhibition with the flu. More importantly, the team's leading returning scorer Anthony Maiani will miss Denver's first weekend of the season with a suspension. Maiani's older brother Domenic played at Ohio State but left after three seasons for what were rumored to be disciplinary issues. Hopefully the younger Maiani's problems were just a one time thing.

St. Cloud freshman David Eddy sprained his ankle during practice and could miss as much as 4-6 weeks.

Michigan State freshman defenseman Matt Grassi broke his thumb when he fell out of the loft bed in his dorm room.  He'll miss Michigan State's opening series against Clarkson, but could be ready for their second series of the season against Maine.
