2010 NHL Draft Linkorama
This website has been tracking some of the various draft lists out there and trying to compile them. They've got a pretty solid list of 210 different players. It is missing a couple kids with really hot starts to this season. The Chicago Steel's Shair Gill is currently leading the USHL in scoring, while Caleb Herbert leads the Midwest Elite League in scoring. Both of those are pretty impressive feats and I would guess you'll start hearing a lot more about those kids as the year progresses.
Red Line Report made their annual attention grab by putting Some Kid You Wouldn't Suspect at number one in their draft rankings. Derek Forbort and Jaden Schwartz are 9 and 10 in their rankings--and if you paid attention to the first link, Nick Bjugstad is 12, Riley Sheahan 14, Max Gardiner 18, Stephen Johns 19, Jarred Tinrodi 26. Brock Nelson and Charlie Coyle are also singled out as players on the rise.
Future Considerations talks about some American prospects, though it's pretty superficial stuff.

I’ve got a running list of North American and European (first-time eligible) players for the 2010 draft and welcome any and all additions, suggestions and input. Currently it’s more useful when it comes to simply compiling rudimentary details but I hope for it to eventually become a more collaborative, in-depth endeavor going forward.
Seguin
Go ahead, Dilks. Ridicule all hockey players that didn’t pick the CCHA or WCHA. Seguin has played out of his mind so far and to say that Red Line is going for an attention grab shows me really how ignorant you are and shows me why we should all move out of our parents’ house before we’re 30.
Attention grab? That would be you. Must be nice to be so sour on anything but college hockey.
Uh-oh. Do you hear that? Your mommy’s calling. Your peanut butter and jelly sammidge is ready. And look – she even cut the crusts off for you.
Real Nut Job
Tyler Seguin might be a darn good hockey player and might be having a great year, but this is Woodlief’s M.O. Everyone else is saying Hall or Fowler. He did the same thing with Matt Duchene last year. I don’t think this blog’s reaction to it is any different than what the VAST majority of the hockey world is thinking about Woodlief.
There is no doubt Seguin is at least #3. But to say anyone other than Hall or Fowler will be #1 AT THIS POINT is just screaming for attention. Now if he continues this torrid pace and blows everyone’s mind, yeah, he could be the #1. For my money, it’s Hall right now.
That NHL Young Guns looks a little off. Any ranking that does not include Jon Merrill in the first round is nuts. With his size and skill, I couldn’t see him going much later than the Top 15.

Thx for the link WCH
The list was a bit delayed but from this point on during the 2nd week of each month a new list will be released. I plan on adding the other 40+ not in the top 210 below the main list. Glad you enjoyed the website.
