Notre Dame Shuts Out BU

For some reason, Notre Dame traveled to Boston to take on Boston University on a Tuesday, and came away with an impressive 3-0 shutout win.

That makes it two straight shutouts now for the Irish since holding a player's only meeting after starting the season with two early losses. The Irish now look to be back on track with a stifling defense, and scoring that can come from just about any line.

Meanwhile, the defending national champions are off to an 0-2 start. It's certainly not an insurmountable hill to climb, but things don't look good early on for the Terriers.
